My Time My Tale (Haikus) is a collection of haikus by Siddharth who had taken to writing haikus only about three months before his life was cut short due to a terrible accident at a young age of 31 years. Siddharth was suffering from schizophrenia and incidentally Death was the last haiku that he shared on Facebook before meeting his end. These haikus are his observations and musings over nature’s wonders and life. They are an eclectic group of three sentenced poems, some are funny and some are poignant and insightful and will either bring a smile to your face or make you ponder over the many facets of nature and life.

Siddharth Joshi (14th January 1985 – 6th August 2016) was a dreamer, a poet, a story teller. A Chemical Engineering graduate from Thapar University, he was always inclined towards the world of words. He lived and breathed books and loved doing his own bit of writing. He had penned many poems and stories and had recently started writing haikus. He also loved photography and bird watching.

Siddharth was a wonderful son, a caring brother and a generous friend. He was suffering from schizophrenia. But the illness did not define him and outwardly he remained a cheerful and social person. Although inwardly, a Harry Potter fan, he fought the complex and hard battle with his mind, as best as he could like a true Gryffindor. But life did not deal him a fair hand in the Tri-wizard Tournament between life, death and schizophrenia.

Nothing could diminish his passion for the written word and he always wanted to be a published writer. Hence, this book.

Your family and friends love you and miss you Siddharth.
